Automation Controls Engineer
Job Function
- Controls hardware and software development for custom, one of a kind, automation machines
- Complete design of machine control systems for all types of automation equipment
Experience Required
- Industrial PLC Programming using ladder logic. (AB, GE, Omron, Mitsubishi are typical)
- Industrial control wiring diagrams using AutoCAD R14/2000/2002
- Windows Programming using Visual Basic 6.0
- General knowledge of automation equipment, including rotary indexing machines, inline machines etc.
- MS Office 2000 and general computer literacy
Experience Recommended
- Windows programming using Visual C++ 6.0 and MFC
- Vision system programming (DVT, Vision Blox, PPT, Cognex etc.)
- Computer motion control programming using MEI, Compumotor, Delta Tau etc.
Other Requirements
- Must be a self starter, work well with others and have a positive attitude
