Machine Assemblers
Job Function
- Mechanical assembly and debug of custom automatic assembly equipment
- Responsible for assembling fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists provided by engineering
- Mechanical fitting
- Mechanical alterations and additions during debug
- Working with the mechanical and controls engineers to make the machine work properly.
- Installation and startup
Experience Required
- General knowledge of custom automation equipment
- General machine shop skills including lathe, mill and grinding
- Experience building custom equipment for resale of in house use
Experience Recommended
- Pneumatics / Hydraulics
- Wiring / Controls
Other Requirements
- Must be a self starter, work well with others and have a positive attitude
