Electrode Combining Machine

Automatically feeds three separate reels of materials through the machine and are joined/combined into a laminate. One layer is the electrode material, next is one or more strips of reeled paper and the third is the plastic and adhesive overlay.

The plastic material is power dereeled and runs through the “corona” treatment station, feeds over the large power driven drum where it is automatically coated with the adhesive from the hot melt dispensing system and then it joins up with the variable number of paper strips and the electrode material, which are both fed from their own dereeler systems. 

The laminate returns under the large drum and is power reeled into a roll of finished material. The materials throughout the process are controlled by automatic web guides.
